Ignite NEWDA Announced

Our initiative for the fall of 2010 is a series of networking events to be held in Hudson, MA, called Ignite NEWDA. Our objective is to run this pilot program in 3 events in the fall and branch out throughout New England in the spring of 2011.

The Ignite presentation concept is unique: Multiple presenters  with 20 PowerPoint slides, advancing every 15 seconds for a 5 minute presentation.

Typically a ‘web developer’ is someone who is a programmer who creates some of the ‘backend’ functionality that many websites require.

We’d like to broaden the definition of ‘developer’  to anyone who helps in the process to create a website.

So, marketing strategists, copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, programmers, and specialists of all kinds are invited to collaborate using NEWDA.
